Homeless Children and Youth (McKinney-Vento Education for Homeless Children and Youth)

Homeless youth and youth separated from public schools are identified and accorded equal access to appropriate secondary education and support services, including by identifying and removing barriers that prevent youths described in this clause from receiving appropriate credit for full or partial coursework satisfactory completed while attending a prior school, in accordance with State, local, and school policies.

Georgia Milestones Assessment

The Georgia Department of Education has released a new video, designed to provide an introduction to the Georgia Milestones Assessment System. This short, animated video provides a friendly overview of our new assessment. The video highlights the purpose of the assessment, the types of questions that students will see, and the types of feedback that students, parents, and educators will receive.

Fuel My Club

CCHS has partnered with Fuel My Club, an online coupon app for your phone. We have many local coupons as well as national coupons listed in the app. If you are a local business and would like to host a coupon on this platform, please contact Principal Stephanie Terrell. Participating clubs include Spanish Club, Band, Choir, the School Store, and the CCHS Scholarship Fund. Click on the image to support a club of your choice. Thank you.

You no longer need to scan a card when checking out, just enter your phone number at check out for CCHS to receive a contribution from Publix. HB91 Graduation Petition

HB91 - Graduation Petition Process for CCHS Students - Governor Nathan Deal signed House Bill 91 into law on March 30, 2015 thereby creating new code section, O.C.G.A. §20-2-281.1.  This law provided that students shall no longer be required to earn a passing score on any graduation tests to earn a high school diploma.


 CCRPI, the College and Career Ready Performance Index, is a comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for all educational stakeholders that will promote college and career readiness for all Georgia public school students.
